Choco pats the floor and rubs against things more intensely and often than any rat I’ve ever seen. I hope his hormones aren’t crazy, I don’t like the idea of him being stressed by it :l
Lars is very lazy, probably obese, as you can see he loves food. I haven’t got to know him too well yet because he is so reluctant to get out of bed.
Oh rats, why must you make my skin itchy and lumpy? I still love you though.
Blaze has got so thin now. I’ve been giving her baby food everyday just so I know she has eaten something. And peas and fruit stick and little bits of whatever I’m eating. But its so sad seeing my speedy baby look so thin and old and sad now. I’m scared to hold her incase I break her.
I want to buy a nice camera, solely to take pictures of my rats.
I just adopted two hugeeee boy rats! They were abandoned outside the pet shop, they’re friendly but nervous still. The shop called them basil and rizzo, don’t know which is which though. I don’t know if I want to change their names yet, will have to see what they’re like when they’re settled.
When my girls go, which I’m scared may be sooner than later, I think I’m going to have to get boys. I love my girls so much, all of them but that just makes it so much harder when they develop tumour after tumour. Maybe I’m just unlucky, but its heartbreaking. I know they live long happy lives, mostly about three years of treats, adventures and cuddles. I don’t want to deprive a girl rat of that either just incase she gets unwell. And I don’t make them suffer any longer than they have to when its time to go. I don’t know, just boys in my experience seem to have less health issues.
Does anyone have any advice? I feel so torn :(
Totally spoiling mygirls tonight. Lyra has decided she is too good for shreddies. And only wants my biscuits now
I let my rats out and they promptly go to sleep :/
